While I was at school I had a very skinny framed body. Due to my size I had nothing on offer when I got bullied. So to beef myself up as you would put it my mum had cleaning detergent bottles which I lifted every so often to try and increase some muscle.

Detergent didn't really make much progress so when I finally had my first job I bought a weights bench and some vinyl weights. As time went on with the weights I felt I needed flexibility and make use my muscles so I joined a gym and started jiu-jitsu at 24 years old.

Martial - arts, tread mill running plus my so called weights routine made my body feel that much different but not as good as I thought. During this time my nutrition wasn't great but I was never fat, strength?? was out of this world.
